TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT DEAL4WHEELS

1. About Us

1.1 We are Deal4Wheels Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 12998682, with our registered office at: The Club House, 304 Anchor Road, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, ST3 5DN.

1.2 We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) under Firm Reference Number 1022207. We act as a credit broker, not a lender.

1.3 We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under registration number ZB897085.

1.5 These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to:

• Any finance application you submit (“Finance Application”), whether directly on our Websites, via an Introducer, or otherwise;
• Any ancillary products (warranties, GAP, service plans, insurance, paint protection, or similar) we or our partners may offer (“Ancillary Products”);
• Any vehicle supplied by an independent Supplying Dealer introduced through us;
• Any access to or use of our Websites, platforms, or communication channels.

2. Finance Applications

• 2.1 By submitting a Finance Application, you confirm all information provided is complete, accurate, and not misleading. Supplying false or incomplete information may result in rejection or cancellation.
• 2.2 We may carry out or arrange soft credit searches (which do not affect your credit score). Lenders may carry out hard credit searches, which may affect your credit rating.
• 2.3 Finance products are provided by third-party lenders, not Deal 4 Wheels Ltd. Approval or refusal is the lender’s decision.
• 2.4 You may be asked to provide supporting documents (proof of income, ID, address, bank details). Failure to do so may result in decline.
• 2.5 Where refinancing or equity release is requested, you confirm that:
  • you have legal ownership and title to the vehicle;
  • the vehicle is roadworthy and of satisfactory quality;
  • you have the legal right to refinance;
  • the lender may arrange an inspection.

3. Commission

• 3.1 We do not charge you a direct fee for our broking service.
• 3.2 We may receive commission from lenders, Supplying Dealers, or product providers if you proceed with finance or Ancillary Products.
• 3.3 Commission varies depending on lender or product. You may request details of the commission we receive on your transaction.

4. Ancillary Products

• 4.1 Ancillary Products may be presented during or after your Finance Application.
• 4.2 If you choose to purchase an Ancillary Product, additional Special Terms will apply.
• 4.3 You may cancel most Ancillary Products within 14 days of purchase or delivery (cooling-off period). Refunds will normally be processed within 14 days of acceptance.
• 4.4 Providers may reject or withdraw products where required by law or regulation.

5. VAT and Pricing

• 5.1 All prices for ancillary products or services (such as warranties, GAP insurance, service plans, paint protection, or any other non-finance product) will be quoted inclusive of VAT where applicable, unless expressly stated otherwise.
• 5.2 Vehicle finance broking services provided by Deal 4 Wheels Ltd are exempt from VAT under HMRC VAT Notice 701/49 (Finance).
• 5.3 Where VAT is chargeable, the prevailing UK rate will apply. If the rate changes between the date of order and supply, the updated rate will apply.
• 5.4 You are responsible for any other taxes or duties arising from your agreement with a lender, Supplying Dealer, or product provider, unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Supplying Dealers

• 6.1 Vehicles listed or supplied via our Websites are provided by independent Supplying Dealers, not by Deal 4 Wheels Ltd.
• 6.2 Supplying Dealers are responsible for:
  • Accuracy of vehicle descriptions, prices, and representations;
  • Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant;
  • Statutory remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
• 6.3 We are not responsible for:
  • The existence, quality, or condition of vehicles;
  • Misrepresentation by Supplying Dealers;
  • Completion or enforcement of vehicle sales contracts.

7. Introducers

• 7.1 We may work with FCA-authorised Introducers who introduce customers to Deal4Wheels Ltd for finance.
• 7.2 Introducers must comply with:
  • FCA rules and our compliance framework;
  • Data protection and customer consent requirements;
  • Restrictions on financial advice unless authorised.
• 7.3 We monitor Introducers and may terminate relationships where compliance concerns arise.

8. Biometric ID Checks and Anti-Fraud Measures

• 8.1 As part of our application and vehicle handover process, biometric ID verification and photographs will be taken by the Supplying Dealer at the time of vehicle collection or delivery.
• 8.2 The purpose of these checks is to:
  • Confirm your identity;
  • Prevent fraud and financial crime;
  • Ensure the vehicle is being handed to the correct customer;
  • Maintain audit records.
• 8.3 By proceeding with finance and vehicle handover, you consent to these checks. Data will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy.
• 8.4 Photographs and biometric checks will be retained securely and may be shared with lenders, fraud prevention agencies, and law enforcement where necessary.

9. Website and Platform Use

• 9.1 Our Websites provide access to finance applications, product information, and vehicle listings.
• 9.2 You may be required to create an account with a secure password. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials.
• 9.3 Vehicle listings are controlled by Supplying Dealers. We do not guarantee accuracy or availability.
• 9.4 Commentary and guidance are for information only and are not financial advice.
• 9.5 We may suspend or restrict access where fraud, misuse, or security risks are identified.
• 9.6 Accounts inactive for 36 months may be deleted, with personal data removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Communications

• 10.1 We may contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email, post, or platform messaging to process your application or provide updates.
• 10.2 Live chat and messaging may be recorded for compliance, training, and audit purposes.
• 10.3 Abusive or offensive messages may result in immediate termination of a chat session.

11. Liability

• 11.1 Subject to clauses 11.2 and 11.3, we will not be liable for:
  • Refusal of finance by lenders;
  • Vehicle misdescriptions by Supplying Dealers;
  • Losses arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or fraudulent data you provide;
  • Business losses (profits, goodwill, or opportunities);
  • Events beyond our reasonable control.
• 11.2 Nothing excludes liability for:
  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • Your statutory rights under consumer law.
• 11.3 Our maximum liability under these Terms (except those in 11.2) is limited to £500.

12. Complaints

12.1 We handle complaints fairly in line with FCA rules and our Complaints Policy.

13. Governing Law

• 13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• 13.2 Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

14. Miscellaneous

• 14.1 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
• 14.2 This agreement is between you and Deal 4 Wheels Ltd only.
• 14.3 If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unlawful, the remaining clauses will continue to apply.
